Caught a Dragon

A commission for a client on Etsy. He just said he wanted a happy dragon and purple was his favourite colour, so this is what I came up with!

As usual I had masses of fun making this guy, the sculpting was fun and PAINTING has become really fun since I bought some decent paints!

I'm really, super happy with the colour scheme, gold and blue was always one of my favourite combinations when I was young and gold and purple always looks so regal.

P.S. a lot of people have been expressing concerns that this is a real animal that has been dressed up. it ISN'T it's a DOLL but I'm pretty pleased it looks that convincing haha!

;__; I can't believe I got another DD, it came at such a perfect time too. The first one was for Odette, which was one of my first dolls and I sold for £40! And it was thanks to that DD that my commissions really took off, and I continued making and developing these guys. Now, something like a year or so on, I've got to the stage where I have the most AMAZING support on DA and I can now make and sell these for a living! So DA, I owe it all to you!
