commissioned me to make her gryphon character, Nebel. I had good fun making her as my friends from home had come to visit so I got to chat to them instead of sitting quietly on my own.
Once they left I took some photos of her and got a little creative with my poses again...
I tried using a different coloured paper for the background but I just love that blue so much!
I make my dolls entirely from scratch, staring with a wire armature held together with epoxy putty. I then sculpt the fimo details on and bake the whole thing. Once it's out of the oven I wrap it in quilt batting then measure a pattern and cut the fur. The fur is hand sewn using a ladder stitch to hide the seams, then brushed and painted with dylon fabric paints. Any details are glued on (like feathers or more fur), the fimo painted with acrylics and finally covered in a matt varnish to protect the paint, or gloss varnish on nails, eyes and scales/beaks.
I do take commissions! Send me an email email@example.com for more info
