For Sale: Neema by Magweno For Sale: Neema by Magweno
I had to use this spotty fur! :D it is just too cool. It's nice and soft and trims down nicely too~

This is Neema, she has a wire "skeleton" and a soft body which means you can bend her into any pose you want - I tried to demonstrate a few in these photos. She has pheasant and chicken feathers securely attached to her head and tail, a hand-sewn body and fimo head and feet. She has been painted with acrylics and then varnished for durability.

She is for sale on my Etsy for 175 + P&P.

Just beautiful. Where do you get the furs? Also, do you stuff them or is it just the fur?

I get them all from one teddy bear supplies website based here in Britain. I wrap the wire "skeletons" with quilt batting before measuring and cutting the pattern for them, so they're not really stuffed but they do have stuffing if that makes sense!

Neema cost 175 + P&P but for a custom doll you will have to pay extra, and if you want it now you will have to pay a fee to skip the waiting list. If you would rather wait, it would be August 2013 before I got to you. Let me know if you'd like to be added to it. :)

It could be a year before I get to you about it, the waiting list is that long, but when it comes around I'll get in touch via DA note as it's easier for me to save on my list.

She's so pretty! I love when you use feathers, because it always comes out gorgeous. The blue/brown color scheme is one of my favorites, and her face is so cute! That last shot just kills me.
If I had enough money, I'd totally commission you. :D

She is amazing Maddy! Oh how I wish I had money already, I would buy this one and not have to worry about waiting anymore >.<
Out of curiosity, is this the spike shaggy faux fur? it looks just like this [link]
Only lighter and much better because you trimmed it to different lengths.

No it's a sort of giraffe print faux fur, the fur on her back it the length it comes at. :)

She's so beautiful!!! I love the pictures of her pawing the ground and crouching ^ ^

I have a question, I was looking around your Etsy page and I saw on the custom order sale ([link]) that you offer 10% discount for dA users. Was that just for the custom order or do you apply it to all sales?
I'd reaaaally love to buy her, and if I can, the 10% pretty much crosses out the shipping which would be very helpful (I live in the US XD)

Haha my hands are always painted some weird colour. That was testing my airbrush from another doll I was taking photos of at the same time. Why don't I test my airbrush on a piece of paper or something, why my hand... :iconfacepalmplz:

All of her is posable, she has a wire "skeleton" which has stuffing and then fabric wrapped around it, so she is bendable. :)
