This is my favourite photo from the kelpie book! I had to get my boyfriend, who was helping out, to drop the bridle about twenty times before I managed to actually catch it, haha! We were using studio flash so I couldn't take a continuous shot, otherwise it would have been a breeze.
I really am proud of this photo for so many reasons, I can't believe I haven't uploaded it to DA until now!
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
The doll, loch diorama and photography is all by me as part of my fourth year final portfolio. Every single grass bunch was punched into the base by hand! Took me weeks. (Although I got bad feedback from the tutors saying this isn't illustration. :/ I'm going to argue that it has a narrative background.)

This is so cool! I love kelpies! I've been wanting to make one for ages. 
I really love how you made this. The materials seem to go together really well and the setting you made is great! Is the body made of/covered with cloth? The way it folds just looks so...sort of terrifying, which a kelpie should be really. I love it!
