Iktomi ref. by Sharpe19

Ikitomi was a challenge set by Sharpe19 which I grabbed by the HORNS. Colours? YES he's got colours and I'm lovin' it  Need I say he was super fun to make?

I want more uber colourful commissions like this! Cmon guys ;) You know you really want to! Iki has been brought to life... Why not let me try your character? The more complex the better.

I do take commissions! Send me an email hello@magweno.com for more info

I think with Iki I watered down acrylic paint a lot then sprayed it on with an airbrush then brushed it with a teasel comb. I might have used dye-na-flo acrylics tho I can't remember :D

So amazing close to the drawn original! Totally stunning!

May I humbly ask with what colours you dyed the fur? They are so brilliant!!! (Like the whole work is!)
Im a pretty beginner related to posable dolls and I dont want to ruin the piece with the wrong colour >.<

I think this piece is watered down acrylic paint applied with an airbrush but I can't quite remember. It's several thin layers of paint laid down on white fur though, that's for sure. :)

I airbrushed it with watered down acrylics. If you brush it during and after it drying then it softens it and stops it from being clumpy and crumbly.
