Kush is =WhiteWinterWolf's character, he was a fun and straight-forward commission. I had really good fun sculpting his teeny tiny feet and hands, it was really rewarding taking photos of him, his hands are really versatile!

Oh, his tail is fully posable as well! It's super soft suede, the same that I used for Liwanu's chest scales. :D

I make my dolls entirely from scratch, staring with a wire armature held together with epoxy putty. I then sculpt the fimo details on and bake the whole thing. Once it's out of the oven I wrap it in quilt batting then measure a pattern and cut the fur. The fur is hand sewn using a ladder stitch to hide the seams, then brushed and painted with dylon fabric paints. Any details are glued on (like feathers or more fur), the fimo painted with acrylics and finally covered in a matt varnish to protect the paint, or gloss varnish on nails, eyes and scales/beaks.

£70 with wings
£90 for extra large or complex designs
I do character designs and custom creatures - i.e. if you don't have a design I can take three of your favourite animals and make you a doll from them. Please send any commission enquiries by note!

His face is utterly beautiful and I love how posable he is, he looks so...realistic in his poses! The fur you chose really works well with the putty and to mask the torso, making it even more believable.
