FeaturedCommentsSalut Magweno !
Bonne continuation. Your work is truly gorgeous. I really admire the details you are able to put into these critters. As said in a previous comment, I'd love to own one some day.
I'm interested in making a personal one for myself, and was wondering if you could recommend a good paint to use on the clay parts? (Guessing it's acrylic, but a reliable brand suggestion would be appreciated!) Also, do you seal the paint (or gold leaf) with anything to keep it from chipping/flaking off? (I assure you, I have no desire to bother with selling --fursuits and a RL job eat up all of my spare time!) I'm sorry if any of those questions have been asked before. I tried looking for tutorials but wasn't able to come across anything related to those topics. ^-^ I use citadel paints, from the games workshop. It's 'goldfinger' paint and I varnish all of the clay parts with dayler rowney matt, shiney bits with fimo gloss varnish. I don't use gold leaf - too fiddly - and would recommend gold enamel if you're going to do metallics.
Hehe sorry this is over a month late, I thought I had replied, I tend to hoard comments like this and go through a replying spree every couple of weeks. Your Work is too cool man! This is something worth investment and it is definitely something I will invest in buying. This is just too radical!! Please keep up both the art and the dolls. Thats not to mention the tutorials and the digital art!! OH GOD I AM GOING TO DIE!!! -runs off and shows all of friends.
Your ideas on sculpture are amazing~! I've always loved moveable sculptures, and have tried several ways myself, but this is simply incredible! I hope you are forever successful! Impressively wonderful!
