I'm interested in making a personal one for myself, and was wondering if you could recommend a good paint to use on the clay parts? (Guessing it's acrylic, but a reliable brand suggestion would be appreciated!) Also, do you seal the paint (or gold leaf) with anything to keep it from chipping/flaking off?
(I assure you, I have no desire to bother with selling --fursuits and a RL job eat up all of my spare time!)
