I'm just so excited, I'm like a little girl haha.

Yesterday we had a very expensive satellite internet set-up installed that runs off our battery. It means I don't have to bum wifi off neighbours or spend hours in cafes anymore, and it means I can start spending time on DA again!

I had a poke around some of my favourite artists pages and wow, there is some astounding work out there. I've found it really difficult juggling life, a croft, bills and my work. There has been some seriously heartbreaking and stressful times for me and my family in the past nine months, but hopefully this will bring about an hugely positive change.

What's excited me most since I came back online is that Spoonflower now do custom printed minky. I swear my jaw nearly fell off when I heard that! It's really going to revolutionise how I produce work, I can't wait to get my sketchbook out and start working on some ideas. I'll definitely be starting with some mofs.

I've been  progressing on speeding up processes through batch processing and have made some headway with casting clear silicones and resins, also with ball and socket joints for moving jaws and wrists (wrists always catch me out). Wings have had some more attention but not as much as I would have liked.

Big commissions are still closed but I am taking on one or two as and when I can. There are dodos and custom fox dragons available in my shop at the moment! magweno.etsy.com

And finally the best place to get a quick response from me is email! hello@magweno.com

The spoonflower minky is exciting. It's been a while since I've been on there. If your making multiples of something, you can just put your pattern lines directly into the pattern to be printed, and then when you get it all you have to do is cut out your pieces. :3 Awesome.
