Tamsin

~edoseck commissioned Tamsin here. She described what she wanted and sent me a sketch and I drew the picture in the top left corner, then made the doll!

She has a fimo head, feet and tail, but the bones down her back and on her side are plastic. Her body is trimmed fake fur and she has a wire "skeleton" running throughout that allows her to be posed. The red and white fleshy bits are latex.

Her tail is made of ball and socket joints with wire running through so it can be posed. I have a gif stop motion animation of it wagging here.

The spines have been sewn on at the base so they aren't floppy but aren't stiff, makes it easier to pack her up for shipping as well as ensure they aren't brittle when being played with.

She was a lot of work but so FUN and rewarding! I really loved making her, a very welcome turn from what I usually make too. Although I did get a comment saying she was CUTE! I can make a half-skeleton-half-wolf hell monster and it STILL comes out cute... How...
